Job Title: Mailroom Manager

Shift: 8:00am,-5:00pm or as needed

Pay: $50,000-$55,000/Year

The primary mission of this position is to oversee, coordinate and handle the day-to-day responsibilities of the mailroom, reception area and housekeeping staff.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESONSIBIITES:

  • Responsible for overseeing and supervising the Corporate Services Department which encompasses the areas of Housekeeping, Reception, Mailroom and Corporate Resources.
  • Manages, assists, coordinates and maintains a balanced operational flow of work and projects throughout the department.
  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities to include interviewing; training; planning, assigning and directing work; praising performance, rewarding and disciplining associates, addressing complaints and resolving problems within the department.
  • Compiles data from varied sources and makes summary reports.
  • Performs routine inspections to assure items are up to date and in compliance.
  • Maintains the supply inventory and database.
  • Responsible for Marketing HUB.
  • Administrator for various company programs (Apparel voucher and non-voucher programs, Automatic Toner, Trade Show, Wurth 6S, Green Team).
  • Organizes company luncheons and assists with company events.
  • Various building responsibilities including annual floor and window cleaning and responsible for building keys). This work will require weekend hours a few times throughout the year.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or two to three years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in the secretarial or administrative area.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel (high level) and be able to learn various software programs.
  • Must be self-motivated and possess the ability to manage multiple employees and areas of the business.
  • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and prioritize work effectively.
  • Must be results-orientated and highly productive.
  • Possess problem solving skills and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
