Job Description

A DAY IN THE LIFE

  • This role partners with functional areas of the business on improvement and transformation projects in an effort to optimize the core business processes.
  • This position will support various continuous improvement activities across Blattner's continuous improvement lifecycle stages of Discovery, Implement and Sustain.
  • Activities include A3 development, 5S, kaizens, problem solving and root cause analysis across multiple projects and core business processes.
  • This role will also train and mentor process owners, functional leaders and key individual contributors in the organization on lean and six sigma methodologies.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, management or similar; or equivalent combinations of education and experience.
  • Three or more years of business process improvement preferrably functioning inside a construction and/or services company required. Previous practical experience in facilitating or training on lean tools, concepts, and process improvement.

WHAT WILL SET YOU APART

  • Experience in the Renewable Energy industry.
  • A Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification or equivalent related experience is preferred.
  • Advanced understanding of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies is preferred.
