ABOUT THIS POSITION

We are seeking an experienced senior paralegal to join the Inspire law department. We are building a trusting and collaborative culture where we value excellence, professionalism, growth and development. We engage proactively with our business partners to deliver business-relevant legal advice and solutions. Reporting to the Company's General Counsel, the senior paralegal will be a key member of the legal team who assists with commercial transactions, contract administration and corporate matters, as necessary. In addition, the senior paralegal may also be asked to support other matters, including compliance and litigation matters. This role has high interaction with a broad array of Inspire groups, including sales operations, clinical affairs, operations/supply chain, and finance.

OPPORTUNITIES YOU WILL HAVE IN THIS ROLE

Specifically, the senior paralegal will:

  • Own all aspects of the contract lifecycle and related business processes, from contract requests, contract records management, contract compliance, and contract amendments and renewals.
  • Support the development and implementation of contract administration and management processes, including policy development, template standardization, and adoption of enterprise contract management system.
  • Assist with drafting, negotiating and reviewing standard contracts, including pricing agreements, confidentiality agreements and consulting agreements.
  • Assure timely and accurate contract reporting, including status and customized summaries of contractual obligations.
  • Support, as necessary, the corporate compliance function, including with respect to business activities relating to the marketing and sale of medical devices, the use of data in compliance with federal and state privacy laws and related regulations, and other compliance matters.
  • Support, as necessary, pre-litigation and litigation processes, including with respect to the assessment and resolution of product warranty claims, product liability claims, contractual disputes, and other similar matters.
  • Assist with the development policies and procedures, training materials, and other documents in support of the corporate compliance function.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of working experience as a paralegal.
  • Significant experience drafting and reviewing commercial contracts.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills to manage contract workflows from contract request to execution.
  • Team player with a strong work ethic; excellent interpersonal skills, and strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent computer skills (especially Microsoft Office Suite products), including SharePoint working environment.
  • Excellent communication and organization abilities.
  • Strong research and report-generating skills.
  • Attention to detail.
