Senior Software Engineer - (employer: Sirius XM Radio Inc.; job location: Oakland, CA) - Design, oversee, and promote adoption of new AWS-based platform. Advise application and infrastructure teams in the development of architectural guidelines and cloud-native application patterns. Support the implementation of enterprise cloud initiatives, including strategic alignment,

design, implementation, automation, production readiness, and documentation. Create and implement automation solutions for managing the cloud platform. Collaborate with other teams, and engage in troubleshooting activities as required. Requirements: Master's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering (Computer or Software), plus 3 years of experience in the offered position or a software architect or engineer role for a streaming platform or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering (Computer or Software), plus 5 years of progressive post- Bachelor's experience in the offered position or a software architect or engineer role for a streaming platform. All required experience must have included developing and maintaining Selenium/Appium based test infrastructure on premise and in cloud; developing and running tests against web and mobile applications on AWS Device Farm and Browserstack; performing solution architecture and engineering applying understanding of application deployment on cloud- native (AWS) services within a distributed computing environment; developing infrastructure and managing configuration using CloudFormation, AWS CDK and AWS CLI; working with containerization platforms and serverless computing, including Docker and AWS Lambda; designing, constructing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and associated tools including third party tools like GitHub Actions; applying knowledge of infrastructure components for security and networking, including VPCs, firewalling and IAM Authentication; programming in TypeScript, JavaScript and Python; designing cost-effective application architecture with built in high availability and reliability; collaborating across multiple business units; and providing ongoing architecture, implementation and testing support to application, operations and security teams.
