Acara Solutions is seeking a Service Technician for a full-time opportunity in Jamestown, NY!
Responsibilities:
- Supervise installation and startup of machines at the customers" plant and maintain all working components as determined by customers" needs.
- Travel to customers" location(s) to install our machines at the customer"s plant and perform the startup of a new machine.
- Perform field trouble shooting on both warranty and repair orders.
- Review jobs in the shop as production is in progress for possible field service problems.
- Perform electrical fault/functions on customer"s machinery, including PLC diagnostics and basic PLC Logic Programming.
- Work in various software systems.
- Assist with machine debug and run off on our floor.
- Training of other employees and/or customers on machines.
- Prepare service reports on jobs in the fields.
- Assist Service Manager when required.

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
- Minimum of Associate"s College degree in electrical engineering or Trade School Certificate in electrical engineering
- Minimum 2 years of technical experience in manufacturing automation, material handling, and/or machine control.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
- Ability to multi-task
