What You Will Do as a Patternmaker:
This position is responsible for the development and maintenance of patterns. Transforms merchandising ideas and product concepts into working patterns that achieve the desired fit and appearance at the minimum cost in materials and labor. This includes the collaboration on prototype assembly, writing dimension specifications, and the monitoring of finished production for compliance to specifications. This position is responsible for clear and concise communications with internal departments and outside contractors.
