Compensation range is $70,000 to $85,000 annually plus benefits.

*This range reflects Carestream's good faith estimate to pay fairly as starting wage. Offers will be tailored within the range based on the selected candidate's experience, industry knowledge, technical and communication skills, and other factors that may prove relevant during the interview process, as well as geographic market differentials for the position.

Position Summary:

The Manufacturing Supervisor will support multiple Carestream buildings along the West Ridge Road corridor, Rochester, NY between Mt. Read Blvd and Lake Ave along Rt. 104.

This is a fully Onsite role.

Provides leadership and direction to hourly maintenance staff. Responsible for the reliability and efficiency of production equipment for the Carestream Rochester Consumables group. Addresses equipment issues across multiple buildings to determine priority based on business needs and assign tasks accordingly. Oversees upkeep of machinery and equipment used in the production process and ensures the manufacturing equipment has minimal downtime and operates at its highest expected capacity. Assists with planning and executing capital projects. Acts as a steward of safety, quality, productivity, and respect for people. Direct all maintenance activities according to corporate policies, corporate procedures, and applicable government laws and regulations.

Position Responsibilities:

* Leads the maintenance team for the Rochester consumables group.
* Works collaboratively to address and resolve complex mechanical problems as well as to optimize equipment performance.
* Drives continuous improvement and development in the maintenance team.
* Assists with organizing and completing capital projects across multiple buildings.
* Ensures a safe and clean work environment for employees and maintain all systems and processes consistent with applicable regulatory requirements.
* Ensures all team members complete quality training and abide by and support the QMS requirements.
* Communicates effectively with colleagues and superiors regarding maintenance issues. Recommend upgrades or modifications to enhance equipment performance.

* Additional duties as needed by the business.

Required Skills & Education:

* HS Diploma or GED and 5+ years of experience.
* 2+ years supervising people (not managing), ideally in maintenance or facilities management.
* A background in assigning and delegatingmaintenance tasks, ideally in a manufacturing environment.Our preference is a person with knowledge of manufacturing pumps, motors, mixers, etc.

* Good interpersonal, verbal, written, and email communication skills.
* Strong sense of teamwork and responsibility.
* Safety consciousness and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.

Desired Skills:

* Experience in maintenance planning
* Experience with SAP or other maintenance work order/project tracking applications
* Familiarity with facility blueprints/equipment schematics
* Strong problem-solving skills
* Familiarity with ISO 9000
* Familiarity with good documentation practices

Work Environment:

Traditional Office Environment: This position is primarily an office setting with standard temperature and humidity controls, moderate to light noise, fluorescent lighting, primarily sitting with standing desks available, extensive computer and keyboard use, etc.
