OVERVIEW:
Working as Full-time Diversity & Compliance Specialist, in our Human Resources department, you will assist hiring managers with human resources functions by screening job applicants, performing phone interviews, posting job openings, and maintaining compliance with Equal Employment Opportunity/Affirmative Action requirements. As a member of the Human Resources team, you will collaborate with other departments, employees and leadership to ensure compliance with hiring laws and regulations. Successful candidates must have an eagerness to learn and ask questions to help innovate and support the hiring process. This position may offer a flexible schedule after a period of onboarding, training, and meeting performance goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
o Screening applications and conducting phone interviews with candidates in the U.S., Canada and Puerto Rico
o Posting company-wide job openings on the internal job board and public website
o Maintaining our applicant tracking system and performing data entry
o Assisting hiring managers company-wide
o Monitoring and evaluating compliance with state and federal laws
o Assisting with developing company affirmative action plans
o Assisting with maintaining our careers platforms to improve recruiting activities

REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
The following skills and qualifications are required for this position:
o Possess or are working towards education related to Human Resources, Business, Communications OR have administrative/customer service work experience
o Excellent written and oral communication skills
o Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and internet navigation
o Highly motivated, self directed and customer service oriented
o Demonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities
o Exhibit strong problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision making skills
o Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
o Work independently as well as in a team environment
o Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork
o Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY)

PREFERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
o Proficient in a second language
o Prior experience using HR related systems such as Peoplesoft, applicant tracking and talent management systems
