Job Description Summary

#TeamAAM is looking for a self-starter with high initiative for completing tasks individually to join our Driveline team in Three Rivers, Michigan as a Facilities Manager!

The Facilities Manager directs and manages the plant facilities staff, programs, and processes in order to ensure safe, timely, and efficient operation of all facilities and utilities systems. They provide maintenance, installation, and consulting support for building and infrastructure requirements of the Three Rivers Manufacturing Facility (TRMF). They also oversee maintenance and support for facility infrastructure, as well as all facility installation and repair projects at a facility or site.

Job Description

  • Reviews, approves, and monitors all project plans related to installation or repair of facilities or utilities systems on site.
  • Implements policies, procedures, and systems that ensure alignment to company standards and effective interdependence of facilities and utilities systems across one or more facilities or sites.
  • Provides long-range and short range space plans by maintaining space assignment database; consulting with senior staff to determine functional needs; determining ways to fill needs in available space; developing proposals for space allocation; determining necessity for space acquisition; developing strategies to acquire additional space.
  • Approves building plans that meet required specifications.
  • Confers with supervisory personnel, owners, contractors, or design professionals to discuss and resolve matters, such as work procedures, complaints, or construction problems.
  • Prepares and submit budget estimates, progress reports, or cost tracking reports.
  • Inspects or reviews projects to monitor compliance with building and safety codes, or other regulations.
  • Prepares contracts or negotiate revisions to contractual agreements with architects, consultants, clients, suppliers, or subcontractors.
  • Generates reports on work order history and preventive maintenance schedules on buildings and equipment.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Education

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Extensive experience leading facilities management activities.
  • Extensive leadership experience.
