Job Description

Ryan Companies US, Inc. has an immediate opportunity for a Communications Coordinator to join our marketing team!

In this role, you will work closely with our communications team and Ryan marketers across the country to create content that champions our culture, reinforces our brand, and celebrates the work we do. As a savvy communicator well-versed in the digital environment, you will combine your creativity, passion for social media, and ability to deliver interesting and informative stories to help create content for our internal and external channels.

Some things you can expect to do:

  • Assist with developing clear, effective content to build internal awareness of initiatives
  • Write and publish email newsletter content
  • Identify and pursue stories that support culture engagement objectives
  • Support the redesign on the corporate intranet
  • Partner with internal team to create and brainstorm social media content
  • Curate, schedule, and manage social media content through Sprout Social
  • Monitor social accounts and respond to messages, comments, and mentions in a timely and thoughtful way
  • Research current social media and industry trends to inform content creation

To be successful in this role, you must have a bachelor's degree in marketing or communications with excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills. Knowledge of social media principles, trends, and best practices is required.

You will really stand out if you have:

  • At least 2 years of professional experience producing digital content and managing social media accounts
  • Experience using Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Premiere Pro, InDesign, Illustrator, Express, etc.)
  • Experience with SEO tools (Semrush, Yoast, or similar) and social media management tools (Sprout, Hootsuite, or similar)
  • Experience with social media management tools such as Sprout, Hootsuite, or similar
  • Experience in a B2B environment
  • Video filming and editing skills
