Main Duties & Responsibilities

JOB SUMMARY:

This position will work closely with the Engineering team and provide support where needed. This position may also be assigned to special projects or assignments when available.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES:

Include the following. Other duties may be assigned

  • Plans and develops experimental test programs.
  • Analyzes test data, reports to determine if design meets functional, and performance specifications.
  • Evaluates engineering test results for possible application to development of systems or other uses.
  • Uses computer assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering and design tasks.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variable

the pay rate for this position is $20.00 an hour

Qualifications

Language Skills:

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, vendors, and customers.


Mathematical Skills:

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.


Blueprint Reading:

Ability to read and understand blueprints.

Computer Skills:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Design software; Development software; Manufacturing software; Project Management software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software

Education and/or Experience:

High School Diploma or equivalent required. 2+ Years of college in related major preferred.
