Job Summary:

This position will provide case management, data entry, marketing, outreach, and coordination services for participants looking to get into Career Pathways programs funded by DEED and other sources.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, or completed coursework towards a degree in Child Development, Education, or a related field; professional experience may substitute for formal education at the discretion of the hiring manager.
  • GCDF or related certification is preferred, but not required.
  • Two years of working with people with barriers to employment.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Experience with Workforce One database preferred, but not required.
  • Able to work with and related effectively to people from a variety of socioeconomic, racial, faith-based, and cultural backgrounds.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Sensitivity towards issues that affect a person's ability to obtain and retain education and employment.
  • Detail oriented; able to work independently and prioritize work.
  • Expertise in case noting and participant file management.
  • Expertise in data tracking and program reporting.
  • High technological aptitude and ability to incorporate technology into program operations.
  • Ability and desire to travel to connect with employers and participants.
  • Ability to make in-person presentations to stakeholders and community groups.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
