Senior Project Manager


OBJECTIVES

The Senior Project Engineer provides support to the Project Manager and the Project Superintendent. The support goals include Goal Setting, Planning, Communicating, Organizing, Implementing, and Tracking.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Acquire, organize, review and distribute project submittals.
  • Oversee the maintenance of project plan drawings and revisions, ensuring precision and consistency.
  • Create and maintain Project Logs, ensuring comprehensive documentation and accountability throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Perform Material Take-Offs. Communicate with the owner and client representatives.
  • Calculate pricing and issue contracts and purchase orders for subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Schedule subcontractor work and supplier material deliveries.
  • Maintain a highly organized work area and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Write reports, business correspondence, and project documents.
  • Convey information effectively in one-on-one and small group interactions with customers, clients, and across the organization.
  • Interpret documents, including safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals, by reading and comprehending their content.
  • Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve department and company goals.
  • Provide leadership to others through example and sharing knowledge and skill.

MINIMUM EDUCATION:

Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or related.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:

2 years' experience managing heavy construction projects such as highways and bridges exceeding $5OM to include experience operating Primavera 6 CPM scheduling software and Bluebeam Revu takeoff software + 2 years' experience operating MS PowerBI and Heavy Job HCCS to manage civil engineering projects and applying construction math concepts to value engineer cost components exceeding $10M in value.


TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

15% domestic travel to project sites, and regional and corporate offices
