Mead & Hunt, a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm, has an opportunity for an Aviation Construction Inspector in Minneapolis, MN.
Responsibilities include assisting field team with implementation and observation of aviation construction projects; Various documentation and reporting for transportation related projects; field testing of construction materials and field measurements of various construction items; assist surveyors as needed. Travel to job sites will be required.
The successful candidate must have all of the following:
- At least 5 years of construction experience
- Associate's degree or higher in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or Transportation
- Experience with interpreting plans and specifications for transportation related projects
- Experience in construction observation, and documentation
A desirable candidate will have experience with any/all of the following:
- Experience on aviation site development
- ASTM standard construction testing procedure experience
- Experience with grade measuring experience
- Experience working with State DOT and/or federal agencies such as FAA.
- DOT Certifications
