Duration: 6+ months
Shift Timing (Day/ Evening/ Night): Day (8am-4pm;M-F)
Job Description:
  • The Procurement position will support and influences the day-to-day supply chain activities that support site operations. The role will ensure support and documentation for the timely delivery and transaction of SAP related activities, everything from receiving to inventory is covered. The Candidate interact with the Supply Chain and NPI teams to help coordinate communication with various internal and supplier based contacts to gather data supporting the Supply Chain process.
Role & Responsibilities:
  • Support Supply Chain activities involving order management, receiving support, Quality process, inventory management and invoice resolution.
  • Compiles information from SAP, Suppliers and site procedures to help resolve issues with the movement of material throughout the site.
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with suppliers and provide support to internal managers to provide an effective interface with all departments.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual obligations with the assistance of Central Contracts group.
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree and 5 years of relevant experience OR
  • In absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience is required.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Thorough knowledge of Supply Chain processes; may include materials, procurement, sourcing, supplier performance
  • Understanding of contract structure, business terms and conditions.
  • Works well in a team environment, highly motivated.
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
  • Strong people / motivational, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills. Remain calm under pressure and manage through with ambiguity.
  • Familiar with and understanding of engineering drawings and specifications.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in the Aerospace industry.
  • Knowledge of Continuous Improvement.
  • Proficient in Excel, Power Point, Project and MRP/ERP systems.
  • Thorough knowledge of Project Management.
