track record of keeping our inspectors’ schedules busy! We are looking for a
candidate that will fit our culture and will provide the highest-level service to our
agents and clients. If you are a current home inspector and you love the
inspection, but not the other parts of the business, RIA is the right fit for you. If
you want to be doing more inspections than you currently are, RIA is the right fit

Our home inspectors are the face of our organization and represent RIA’s culture,
values, and mission while engaging with clients and agents. We put in the work
behind the scenes to make our organization the best, but it is our home inspectors
that “run the ball over the goal line”. As an RIA inspector, you will have a major
impact in the home-buying decisions of our clients.

What you will do:

  • Build positive relationships with home buyers, homeowners, real estate agents, and your team members.
  • Conduct thorough inspections on residential properties.
  • Complete high-quality digital reports.
  • Continually learn and train to increase your inspection knowledge and customer service skills.
  • Learn additional services, such as pool inspections, radon testing, mold testing, light commercial inspections, stucco inspections, pre-drywall inspections, and more.

What we are looking for:

  • Someone who loves customer service and has great people skills.
  • Construction background or inspection experience preferred, but not required.
  • Computer skills.
  • Dedication to continuous learning.
  • Someone who is teachable.
  • Someone that wants to contribute to a team and fits our culture.
  • Reliable transportation required.
  • Clean drug and background screening.
  • Someone who lives in one of our current service markets.

Physical requirements:

  • Bending and kneeling while inspecting a home.
  • Ability to stand/walk for many hours at a time.
  • Ability to navigate attics and crawl spaces, including crawling.
  • Able to lift medium sized ladders and smaller equipment.
  • Can operate during hot and cold weather conditions.
  • Home inspection is a moderately physical job.

Job Type: Full-time.

Pay: Commission per inspection completed.

Schedule: Monday to Friday. Weekend work is optional.
