Summary

We are currently seeking a Senior Network Engineer to design, build, and operate Toppan Merrill's enterprise, data center, and cloud network infrastructure. This role will provide technical expertise to complete complex projects and tasks efficiently. This role will also act as the subject matter expert for all technologies in use on the Toppan Merrill network.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Function as the network subject matter expert for all network technologies including firewalls, routers, switches, VPNs, load balancers, etc.
• Design networking solutions derived from architecture standards
• Implement advanced configuration of networking equipment
• Perform in-depth troubleshooting of complex network issues
• Train and mentor junior staff

Minimum Qualifications

• Extensive experience working with Palo Alto NGFW and GlobalProtect
• 3+ years experience administering Cisco routers and switches in both campus and data center networks
• 2+ years experience with load balancing technologies like F5 BigIP LTM
• Working knowledge of routing protocols, preferably OSPF and BGP
• Cloud networking experience with any of the major cloud providers (Azure, AWS, OCI, etc).
• Outstanding troubleshooting skills including the ability to interpret packet captures
• Ability to effectively work on multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Extensive experience working with Azure networking including ExpressRoute, NSG, ILB, UDR, and traffic manager
• In depth knowledge of tunneling and VPN technologies including IPSec, DMVPN, and SSL RAVPN
• Experience with Cisco ISE or other TACACS/RADIUS solutions
• Experience with network capacity planning and performance monitoring
• Familiarity with SD-WAN solutions

Preferred Certifications

• Cisco CCNA or CCNP
• Palo Alto PCNSA or PCNSE

Salary Range - $120,000 - $150,000 based on experience.
