The Ultra Maritime Contracts function is responsible for negotiation and administration of customer facing contracts for all aspects of the contract life-cycle, from RFP receipt through contract closeout.
This function is instrumental in supporting the overall UM business strategy through proper contract compliance.

Candidates must be eligible to obtain the relevant security clearance required for the role, due to the nature of the programmes we deliver for our customers.

Job Description

As an Ultra Maritime Contracts Manager you are responsible for customer facing negotiations, contract administration, and complete contract life-cycle management. In addition, this role performs an important oversight function internally ensuring adherence and compliance to Ultra Maritime contract and legal processes and procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • Negotiate terms and conditions with USG, Prime Contractors, and International Customers.

  • Administer highly complex contracts and implement a strict change management process.

  • Support proposal development including generating and presenting contract slides for internal leadership reviews.

  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships

  • Identify key risks and opportunities throughout the contract life cycle and communicate those early and often.

  • General contract administration for your program portfolio to ensure proper traceability of all contractual documentation.

  • -Negotiate and manage customer related non-disclosure agreements and teaming agreements.

Successful candidate will possess the following skills:

  • Ability to successfully manage multiple project deadlines while producing quality results within the framework of the organization's set standards and policies.

  • Must demonstrate advanced professional written and verbal communication skills.

  • Must be able to manage time effectively and have excellent administrative and organizational skills.

  • Detail oriented and a critical thinker with the ability to successfully manage challenging contracts.

  • Ability to work independently and manage day-to-day workflow proactively with little oversight.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • 8+ years of U.S. Government contract management experience.
