Marvell's tax department is looking for a Senior Tax Analyst ready to make the next jump to Tax Manager, and is looking to hire a smart, creative, energetic individual who can help bring best practices to the tax department.

What You Can Expect

* Support the U.S. federal and state income tax compliance functions including the preparation of work papers for the U.S. federal and state tax returns, quarterly estimated tax payments, and extension requests
* This includes preparation of US book/tax differences, state apportionment work papers, international tax work papers to support forms 5471's and foreign tax credit, as well as preparation of any other work papers required for US tax return filings
* Responsible for the preparation of schedules supporting the annual and quarterly tax provision calculations, including the Section 162(m) analysis and ASC 718 analysis for book and tax
* Responsible for updating the quarterly FIN 48 interest and foreign exchange computations
* Responsible for preparation of all worldwide tax account roll forwards and all worldwide tax account reconciliations on a quarterly basis
* Responsible for updating the US book/tax differences in conjunction with the year-end tax provision computations
* Assist with preparation of any other schedules supporting the quarterly and annual foreign tax provision computations
* Assist the Tax Manager in data gathering and other support in conjunction with the Company's R&D credit calculations
* Maintain and update the fixed asset system for tax depreciation purposes
* Address notices sent by tax authorities, including preparation of correspondence and other research related to those notices
* Assist with support of US and state income tax audits as required
* Process tax payments and prepare journal entries related to those tax payments
* Maintain tax payment schedule for compliance and for quarterly tax reporting
* Assist with the preparation of the fixed asset listing for annual property tax filings

What We're Looking For

* BS/BA degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or equivalent
* CPA license preferred, but not required
* 4-6 years income tax compliance and income tax provision experience
* Experience in public accounting firm and/or Multinational Corporation
* Detail-oriented, organized and able to deliver on tight timelines
* Strong communication skills, both written and oral
* Highly motivated, hard-working, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
* Experience with Oracle G/L System is a plus

Expected Base Pay Range (USD)

102,170 - 153,000, $ per annum

The successful candidate's starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.
