Fugro Geophysical service line provides geophysical surveys that maps out the ocean floor and underneath to provide geophysical data, utilizing sonar technologies to do. The geophysical surveys involve a series of techniques and algorithms applied to raw survey data to extract meaningful information about subsurface features. It includes steps such as data quality control, noise removal, filtering, and data enhancement. These processes aim to enhance the signal-to-noise ratio, improve resolution, and create interpretable images or models of the subsurface.

The Service Specialist is responsible to perform routine and preventative maintenance of office buildings, mechanical equipment, utility systems and company vehicles; assists in grounds maintenance.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead by example and place Quality, Health & Safety, Security, and the protection of the Environment as core values while never intentionally placing employees, our processes, customers, or the communities in which we live and work at risk.
• Maintains building, performing minor and routine painting, plumbing, electrical wiring, and other related maintenance activities.
• Transports company vehicles to and from maintenance shop.
• Performs vehicle cleaning and maintains fuel and lubrication levels to ensure safe performance when called into service.
• Assists in loading equipment onto trucks; may operate forklift.
• Delivers personnel, equipment, and supplies to job locations in an on-call situation.
• Cleans debris from sidewalks; assists in other outdoor/grounds maintenance as required.
• Assists in daily office cleaning: mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, cleaning restrooms, etc., when required.
• Moves heavy office furniture upon request.
• Responds to emergency maintenance requests as required.
• Maintains records of scheduled maintenance procedures.
• Performs other duties or completes special projects as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Legally authorized to work in the United States, without restrictions.
• Possess a High school diploma or GED.
• Possess valid driver's license with acceptable motor vehicle record.
• Have 6 months or more experience as a maintenance/handy individual.
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations ,customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
• Basic knowledge of computers and email.
