It's an exciting time to join IFF's Manufacturing Technology team, as we build an organization rooted in a culture of continuous improvement, clean process design, and adopt the latest technology and automation innovations. As Global Manufacturing Technology Director, you'll join a team of agile, customer-focused thinkers who collaboratively solve difficult business problems to make key business decisions. You will support one of our largest divisions, Nourish. You will lead the organization to operate in a decisive way to deliver superior technical and business results and be an active contributor to define business strategy. You will anticipate the need for new technology and products or, for technical renewal of a business in line with major market trends that will affect the business results. You will develop strategic proposals to meet emerging business needs.

Job Requirements

You are sought out to contribute advice and ideas to strategic planning, decision making, and leadership processes in the research and business environment.You are a key enabler and accountable for creation of actual value in terms of measurable financial impact in sales, margin increase or NPV by capacity increase, cost savings or product innovation launches.

Required Experience:

* Master degree or higher in science or engineering or equivalent by experience

* 8-10 years in a leadership role

* Minimum of 15 years of experience working in R&D or Manufacturing Technology

* Statistical knowledge to perform statistics on dataset and interpret the results

* Strong project management experience

* Clear understanding of production processes, industrial manufacturing

* Experience working in a matrix organization, presenting business cases for capital projects, capacity and cost saving initiatives.
