As a Program Manager you will support Camp Noah operations by the engagement of volunteers, assisting in the adaptation of the Camp Noah curriculum to increase its efficacy, and support inventory control and management; The incumbent will also manage all disaster recovery efforts on behalf of Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota within the state of Minnesota. This work will focus on long-term recovery work which includes disaster case management, reconstruction management and volunteer management.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
  • 1+ years of experience in disaster recovery work or a related field.
  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Emergency Management or related field and/or years of experience, which can include lived experience that is applicable to the job and performance.
  • Knowledge of volunteer management.
  • Knowledge of trauma informed care.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Exceptional organizational skills.
  • Ability to travel, own car preferable.
  • Supervisory experience.
  • Volunteer management experience.
  • Highly developed relationship building and networking skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
