Intermediate District 287 is looking for a Computer Science and Information Technology Instructor for our Career & Tech Center located in Eden Prairie!

The Career & Tech Center program offers career courses for high school students that are designed to match the level of career readiness by focusing on skill development experiences, career awareness, and decision making that can lead to a college certificate, diploma, or degree.

Position Details:

Provide classroom instruction to a diverse population of students in the field of computer science and information technology careers.

Salary & Benefits:

Competitive Salary: $45,136 - $89,528 DOE and E Generous Benefits: Medical (including infertility benefits), dental, life insurance, long-term disability insurance, paid leave, pension, optional 403b, and an incredible employee assistance program (includes 6 free counseling sessions)

Education and Experience Requirements

High school diploma or a general education development (GED) certificate and five (5) years of employment and/or teaching experience in the subject field. Substitutions Allowed:
Associate's degree may substitute for years of relevant employment or teaching experience.

Licensure, Certifications and other Requirements

A current Career and Technical Education (CTE) teaching license issued by the Professional Educator Licensing and Standards Board (PELSB) in the specific area is required. If not currently licensed, must be willing and eligible to apply for and receive a Tier 1 or 2 Teaching License. In addition, some occupational clusters require industry certification.
