This position is responsible for operating and maintaining assigned tractor-trailer equipment. Work closely with your road construction crew to haul aggregates, asphalt, and millings to and from project sites. This is a Teamster Union position that comes with Union benefits including excellent insurance and pension after reaching your hours threshold. Since this is a seasonal position, you can use your winters off to travel, hunt, fish or other activities you enjoy while your benefits continue year-round. |

| Minimum Qualifications: | |||
|
A successful Construction Driver for Knife River will have: * A valid Commercial Driver's License Class A with acceptable driving record * A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent critical thinking skills * Ability to pass and maintain a Department of Transportation physical * Ability to pass a Department of Transportation drug/alcohol screen and remain substance free This position requires travel throughout Northern MN and North Dakota. Most drivers will stay overnight on-location during the season. |
