You will spend your time...

  • Applying strategic focus to create, manage and deliver compelling and creative customer capabilities-driven presentations within the culinary and snacks category.
  • Driving the strategic planning process for the culinary and snacks category within Tastepoint by IFF. Collaborating with internal stakeholders to optimize portfolio reach and fit to customer.
  • Managing, tracking and reporting project pipeline, sales, new wins and opportunities within the culinary and snacks category.
  • Aligning with platforms and Business Units to optimize cross-promotion of flavors, and all portfolio offerings including, but not limited to, ingredients and food systems within the culinary and snacks category.
  • Exploring future opportunities to identify prospective new accounts and manage cultivation of new leads and emerging accounts as required to meet goals.
  • Supporting additional functions as required by the role to support sales, commercial, marketing and company-wide initiatives, both internal and external.
  • Traveling to support customers and attend industry and company events as required (~20%).
Job Requirements

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent, in marketing or food industry-related field with related experience in the food ingredient industry a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in B2B or B2C.
  • Exceptional presentation skills (in-person and remote) are essential, in tandem with mastered written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, with proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret statistical market data and internal sales and pipeline data.
  • Ability to thrive within a large, matrixed organization.
  • Strong research skills across various trade, subscription databases and internet channels.
  • Work in and contribute to a positive team environment.
  • Must be able to work well under pressure and thrive in fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Based in Philadelphia, PA this position is hybrid between weekly in-office days and weekly work-from-home days.

Preferred

  • Industry knowledge of/or professional experience in the culinary and/or snacks environment, including but not exclusive to: meat and plant-based meat alternatives, frozen meals, dressings and sauces, and/or salty snacks or seasonings is a plus.
  • Experience in project management and collaboration.
  • Experience in supporting category/sales teams.
