Job Description:
The performance program leader is responsible to successfully implement a performance-based contract at one of SKF's strategic industrial end user customers. The individual will work onsite at the end user and manage all aspects of the condition monitoring program whose goal is to increase rotating equipment performance at the facility.

Responsibilities Include but Not Limited to:

  • Lead delivery of KPI's and outcomes based on contractual obligations.
  • Vibration analysis of at least an ISO Category III.
  • Work with other predictive maintenance technologies and practices including electrical and mechanical infrared inspections, In-place dynamic balancing, airborne ultrasound inspections, machinery alignment, ODS, and Motion Amplification.
  • Troubleshoot complex machinery problems.
  • Perform multi-channel data analysis.
  • Utilize CMMS and planning & scheduling tools.
  • Manage scope, schedule, and budget for the performance contract.
  • Build partnership with end user team while identifying opportunities for rotating equipment improvement.
  • Coordinate activities for the effective use of all SKF resources who are part of the program team.
  • Facilitate completion of bearing inspections, RCFA, and remanufacturing processes using best practices.
  • Coordinate plant rebuild processes & quality with third parties to ensure rebuilds are delivered in precision state.
  • Drive preparation and execution of operations reviews with the end user; present successes and challenges.

Job Requirements:

  • Mechanical Engineering or relevant degree/experience required.
  • Vibration analysis of at least an ISO Category III.
  • 5+ years of experience working in an industrial continuous process environment.
  • Strong in Microsoft Office 365 applications and other computer tools.
  • Working knowledge of CMMS and planning & scheduling.
  • Proven leader who can build and drive a team to achieve program goals.
  • Effective communicator who can drive activities/improvements with urgency and high quality.
  • Ability to collaborate well with cross-functional teams to accomplish multiple assignments and deliverables in a complex environment.
  • Sound understanding and demonstrated experience working with other predictive maintenance technologies and practices including electrical and mechanical infrared inspections, In-place dynamic balancing, airborne ultrasound inspections, machinery alignment, ODS, and Motion Amplification.
  • Proven experience including certification or equivalent with machinery vibration analysis of at least an ISO Category III.
