We are currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of Business Development Manager to cover Florida territories including Miami, Ft. Lauderdale and Ft. Myers. The position will develop new business opportunities and maintain key business relationships to support the growth of forensic consulting services and represent the Rimkus brand in the marketplace.

Expectations of this role include creating lasting, value driven relationships; promptly addressing client needs related to services sought; building trust with internal and external stakeholders; communicating comprehensively and effectively; solving problems creatively and efficiently to expand and build the business and client base.

The position requires face-to-face business development and solution-selling, ability to exercise strong initiative and independent judgment to work effectively and efficiently with limited oversight, managing the entire sales cycle from identification of a prospect to receipt of sales through account management.

The candidate will report to the regional VP of Business Development but work closely with the local District Manager(s) to collectively ensure all goals for the territory are being met. Responsible for the development and execution of competitive sales and marketing strategies designed to support defined growth targets and maximize client satisfaction.

  • Identify and pursue prospective clients, leveraging internal and external resources to identify new leads to research and develop new relationships
  • Market the company's services to prospective clients (i.e. insurance carriers, law firms, corporate and commercial clients and municipalities/government agencies) in order to secure new accounts and repeat business.
  • Reinforce relationships with current clients through regular contact and promotion of value-added services for future business.
  • Makes targeted number of value-added in-person client contacts each week aimed at increasing market penetration and share.
  • Maintains and updates client relationship management system database and individual sales & marketing activity reports.
  • Receives incoming assignments from clients and assists in identification and assignment of qualified consultants to oversee and execute each assignment.
  • Maintains good relationships among company operations personnel, serving as liaison between them and our clients.
  • Assists in handling and resolving client concerns/needs.
  • Secures, coordinates and manages presentation of continuing education seminars for insurance carriers, law firms, and associations.
  • Participates in key marketing strategies, industry events, trade shows, and electronic contract programs.
  • Attends client related professional and social functions, conventions and events as needed to promote the company and our services. This will require occasional after business hours work.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree; with appropriate experience, M.B.A. a plus.
  • Bi-Lingual (English/Spanish) Required
  • Track record of responsibility and success; minimum 7 years professional level experience in business development, one-on-one meetings, client relationship management, sales and/or account management.
  • Experience/background/familiarity in selling SERVICES within the insurance claims or legal industries is required.
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written), follow up, presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Travel requirement of 30% - 50% as position will cover all of South Florida
