Job Description

Regions Hospital is seeking a psychologist with rehab experience and/or health psychology and behavioral medicine background to join our Inpatient Rehab department. This position will be part of a multi-disciplinary team and primarily serve patients with neurological diagnoses. Regions is CARF Certified for General program, Stroke, TBI and SCI and a Model System for Spinal Cord Injury Model System in coordination with U of M, Courage Center and Mayo.

Therapists provide a broad range of behavioral health services to patients with primary behavioral health problems. The person in this position provides mental health assessments and psychotherapeutic treatment, establishes treatment plans that may include coordination with other professional services, provides consultation and education about behavioral health issues and treatment, and performs other duties as assigned. May work with patients of all ages.

Monday-Friday

Required Qualifications:

  • Doctorate degree in psychology (PhD or PsyD).
  • Two years of supervised clinical experience with a broad range of presenting problems and therapies, including cognitive behavioral therapy and solution-focused brief therapy.
  • License to practice independently as Licensed Psychologist (LP).
