Job Summary

The Account Manager is responsible for the sale of wall panels, roof/floor trusses, stair kits and/or turnkey framing packages for residential, Single-family, Multi-family, and Commercial Builders by developing and maintaining customer contacts within any of the following areas.

Ideal candidates would reside within the following areas:

• Sioux Falls, South Dakota
• Fargo, North Dakota

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

• Services and maintains positive relationships with current customer base
• Identify customer needs and solve problems
• Understand and perform cost savings analysis for customers
• Generates new sales by promoting product line to new and existing customers
• Troubleshoots problems for customer
• Qualify customers' creditworthiness
• Monitors sales market in assigned region
• Prepares various reports as required
• Accounts receivable management
• Month-end inventory participation
• Performs other duties as required

Qualifications

• Preferred bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a related area
• Preferred minimum of five years experience selling wall panels, roof/floor trusses, stair kits and/or turnkey framing packages
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, Outlook and other software for business applications
• Preferred manufacturing background, but not required
• Preferred experience and knowledge on UFP's organization, culture, and product lines
