Oil & Gas Project Manager

We are currently seeking a full-time Oil & Gas Project Manager to join our Energy team in Columbia, South Carolina.


Job Snapshot:

As an Oil & Gas Project Manager, you will possess a strong understanding of natural gas distribution and transmission systems, environmental permitting, non-environmental permitting (such as DOT encroachments, utility encroachments, railroad encroachments, and zoning), design of distribution and transmission pipelines, preparation of plan/construction drawings and details, site grading and drainage, and erosion and sedimentation control plans. Will assist in business development to grow the business. Our project managers must have the ability to provide both technical expertise and project management.


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering
  • 6+ years' experience, with 2+ years' experience in the oil and gas industry preferred
  • 2+ years' experience as a project manager
  • Experience managing multi-disciplined teams on turnkey pipeline projects
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with teammates and clients
  • Excellent computer skills and well-organized

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional Engineer (PE) licensure
  • Experience with environmental permitting and design
  • Pipeline design skills and AutoCAD experience
