What You Can Expect

Hands-on board design experience requirement (minimum five years)

  • Design analog and digital electrical/electronic circuits using CAD tools
  • Conduct design reviews with multi-disciplined teams
  • Read and understand Printed Circuit Board layout using Allegro Viewer
  • Document design and product using Agile PLM
  • Interface with EMC, Safety & Security test labs
  • Read and understand 2D & 3D mechanical drawings
  • Test & verify Printed Circuit Board Assembly in systems
  • Analyze and debug circuit board down to component level
  • Write rework instructions
  • Use soldering iron to repair and replace through-hole and surface mount components
  • Build cables and assemble minor circuits on breadboard
  • Perform power and thermal characterizations
  • Interface with CM & internal manufacturing operations
  • Support Failure Analysis teams
  • Knowledge of digital multi-meters, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, power supplies & electronic loads
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office
  • Experienced with PCIe specifications
  • Experienced with latest DDR component and DIMM technologies
  • Knowledge of PCB technologies and fabrications
  • Experienced with Verilog code for CPLD & FPGA

What We're Looking For

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and 3-5 years of related professional experience. Master's degree and/or PhD in Electrical Engineering with 2-3 years of experience.

Expected Base Pay Range (USD)

100,840 - 151,000, $ per annum

The successful candidate's starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.
