Nurse Practitioner: Palliative Medicine Service

Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine (BUCASM). The Palliative Medicine Service in the Department of Medicine at Boston Medical Center, is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join the clinical team. Our values and mission continues to drive our stronghold of excellence in patient care, education, and research.

Nurse Practitioners are members of the faculty at Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine (BUCASM).

Location: In person/ Onsite Boston Medical Center

Overview:

NP Palliative Care: The job opportunity is full-time, 40 hours a week, although part-time candidates may be considered.

There are opportunities to work on both the inpatient consult service and in the outpatient palliative care clinic. Job responsibilities include seeing patients in consultation, managing pain and other symptoms, facilitating goals of care discussions, and providing support to families.

Job Requirements:

  • Candidates must have an active MA NP license
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A minimum of 2 years of palliative care experience is preferred
