Job Summary:

The Account Manager at SKF is a virtual sales role accountable for delivering profitable year-over-year growth within SKF's strategic industries and associated product line/brands. The Account Manager will report into the Manager/ Director Sales. The Account Manager is responsible for business planning and driving the sales growth within a current and established customer base. The Account Manager will be required to generate and qualify sales opportunities managing the leads through the sales cycle to closure.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Deliver consistent and sustainable year-over-year sales and profit growth within the assigned accounts.
  • Business planning and accountability.
  • Pipeline development and management.
  • Strong focus on growing and maintaining an accurate sales funnel.
  • Focus on consistently filling it with new and lucrative opportunities.
  • Update Internal CRM tools which documents activities at the customer.
  • Manage existing accounts virtually in order to retain business and create opportunity to secure additional business from existing customers.
  • Work internally to ensure customer's orders can be fulfilled to their expectation.
  • Demonstrate proactive and continuous customer connection.

Job Requirements/Experience:

  • Must be competitive and exhibit a motivation to building his/her pipeline of new business opportunities while staying focused on closing existing opportunities.
  • Strong desire to win and highly competitive.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of customer interfacing.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to leverage online tools to conduct daily business.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong presentation ability.
  • Ability to utilize internal corporate software tools.
  • Ability to manage a substantial pipeline of opportunities at different sales stages to keep them all moving toward close.
  • Ability to communicate and present effectively remotely via email, social media, e-commerce platforms, or by telephone.
  • Ability to grow and develop sales within an existing customer base.
  • Experience in developing sales pipeline within Automatic Lubrication systems, Vehicle Service equipment, or lubrication related tools is considered an asset.
  • Ability to manage your time efficiently, unsupervised, and work from a primary home office location and company office on a as needed basis.
