Job/Internship Description
The Inside Sales Intern will assist the Inside Sales Team with the maintaining, growing and servicing of accounts. The Intern will have the opportunity to proactively identify sales opportunities, for Outside Sales Representatives, creating opportunities to up-sell and cross-sell existing accounts, reactivating inactive accounts and identifying new account opportunities to establish strong, long-term relationships with customers.

Responsibilities will include assisting the department with all aspects of customer activity. This will include but will not be limited to, assisting with the entering of Sales Orders, expediting orders with short lead times or unusual requirements, ensuring correct inventory is in stock to support general sales, proactively identifying customer needs and advising customers of potential issues. Interns will have the pleasure of working close with Outside Sales to develop marketing plans and strategies. The Intern will also assist with Sales reporting and tracking either thru Olympics' host computer system and/or Excel tracking and analysis. The Intern will assist the department in achieving sales targets and track progress against these targets.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Working towards a Bachelor’s degree. All Majors are welcomed.
• High energy, data analysis, business acumen and strong mathematical skills
• Strong telephone technique, excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong computer skills (Lotus Notes, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Self-starter
