This adjunct position will remain open for 1 year to allow departments' access to candidate pools when there is a need to hire an adjunct to teach a course(s) during defined academic semester(s).

The successful candidate is expected to establish and maintain a professional goal to become an outstanding teacher-scholar through the use of research-based, best-practices pedagogy. They are expected to teach using both in-person and alternative delivery methods such as online and hybrid. Job Description
St. Cloud State University is seeking applications for potential adjunct instructors who qualify to teach Undergraduate and Graduate course(s) in the College of Health and Wellness Professions - Department of Communication Science and Disorders.

The Communications Sciences & Disorders (CSD) department is part of the College of Health and Wellness Professions at St. Cloud State University. We train speech-language pathologists in our highly competitive, clinically focused CAA accredited program. We offer our students high-impact learning opportunities through our on-campus Speech-Language and Hearing Clinic, community partnerships, clinical research and much more. Our high quality, comprehensive in speech-language pathology and audiology have been a community asset for nearly seven decades.
Required Qualifications
  • Master's Degree and CCC-SLP or CCC-A
  • Evidence of the ability to teach and work with persons from diverse backgrounds
  • MN Department of Health licensure
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous in-person and/or online teaching experience
  • Clinical supervision/instruction at the post-secondary level with evidence of teaching effectiveness
  • Understanding of ASHA's 2020 Certification Standards
