Business Enablement Manager


Location: Lansdale, PA (remote position)

Position Summary:
Your role will be to provide a central point of information for all related IT activities. In this role, you will assist the Enterprise Architect to develop the IT architecture model. You will be expected to maintain a detailed understanding of IT both operational performance and progress of ongoing development, playing a leading role in problem resolution. This position builds that bridge of communication by acting as the liaison. You will be the connection between the Demand & Supply chain process area and IT to execute on digitalization of our full value chain.

Responsibilities Include But Not Limited to:

  • Maintain a high degree of visibility within the business, attend business meetings, and appropriate management forums.
  • Represent the business needs and interests within IT, contributing to appropriate IT team, operational and development meetings.
  • Maintain a detailed knowledge of the key business processes and systems employed by the business.
  • Maintain an up-to-date, detailed understanding of both Business and IT strategy.
  • Assist with the oversight and prioritization of projects, particularly using cost benefit analysis to proactively manage business demand.
  • Make objective recommendations regarding the relative fit of technology to business needs.
  • Assist with the operational and commercial relationship management of third-party suppliers.
  • Assist the business in forming process and systems solutions that are appropriate and adequate to satisfy both tactical and strategic business needs.
  • Support the Strategic Delivery Manager in the development and execution of internal IT project delivery methodologies.
  • Play a proactive role in negotiations.
  • Act as a project leader/manager, coordinating the work of both internal and external IT resources when required.
  • Identify, analyze, lead, and deliver project opportunities in support of business operations within Demand & Supply chain systems.
  • Coordinate and lead communication, tasks, and work streams associated with the demand.
  • Maintain continued engagement with business and IT teams throughout local and Central demand process and local PMO to closure of demand.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field preferred.
  • 4+ years of Demand and Supply Chain experience.
  • 4 years of project management experience.
  • Experience with Demand and Supply Chain processes and systems.
  • Requires travel regionally and internationally - up to 25%
  • May require mandatory overtime or accessibility during non-working hours to meet project deadlines, as IT serves 7x24


Desired Attributes/Skills:

  • Idea and Demand workflow management experience preferred.
  • Planning experience or APICS certification is a bonus.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Good project management skills
  • Ability to communicate complex problems in a non-technical and simplified manner
  • Ability to effectively communicate business needs to the technology teams and vice versa
  • Attention to detail and excellent analytical skills
  • Well organized and able to work on own initiative
  • Good interpersonal skills with the ability the ability to influence and engender collaboration
  • Collaborate with members of teams within and outside of IT across global organization
  • Voluntarily take initiative to independently research, identify and acknowledge existing and potential opportunities, issues, and impediments
  • Maintain routine communication with key business stakeholders and subject matter experts
