Intern - Financial Planning & Analysis Gaithersburg, MD

Your tasks

During your internship with the Miltenyi Biotec, you will have the opportunity to support the Finance team in preparation of the yearly budget, monthly forecasting, financial variance analysis, Capex tracking, and ad hoc reporting. We are looking for a driven Financial Analysis Intern with a basic understanding of GAAP and financial principles who is ready for an immersive, real-world experience. Under the supervision of our staff, the Intern can expect to participate in the preparation of financial reports, analyze actual financial data, learn more about SAP ERP system, and assist with other financial activities.

The ideal candidate will think about the big picture and how the financials of each business unit affect the company as a whole. Communication with cross-functional teams and "getting to the why" of the financial results will be important.

You should be a motivated team player who can maintain efficiency and accuracy when multitasking. Overall, your particular skillset and efforts will drive Miltenyi Biotec's continuing business success.


  • Currently possess or are working to acquire a Bachelor's in finance or currently possess or are working to acquire an MBA degree; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to operate a computer with Windows operating system, Outlook email, internet, and basic MS Office products (Excel).
