*This is full time summer internship*

Job Summary

Performs work associated with Environmental, Health, and Safety.

Job Duties

* Review of Energy Control Diagrams for all machines

* Job Safety Risk Assessment/ Risk Identification

* Noise Mapping

* Defining risk priority for EHS observations

* Assist with implementation of EASE Beacon, Internal audit development

* Heat Index Monitoring

* Follow all Safety, Environmental and Quality policies and procedures

* Perform other duties as assigned

Experience and Education

* Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree with a focus in Environmental, Health and Safety or Occupational Safety

* Perform work under direct supervision

* Handle basic issues and problems and refer more complex issues to higher-level staff

* Possess beginning to working knowledge of subject matter

Competencies/ Skills

* Ability to interpret work instructions

* Ability to follow written and verbal directions

* Intermediate verbal and written communication skills

* Intermediate mathematical skills

* Ability to meet deadlines

* Ability to problem-solve

* Analytical thinking skills
