Organization: HPD-Missouri Job: Construction Farm Maintenance Tech 1 - (20000637)

Farm Maintenance Tech opening in Harris, MO. Ensure properly scheduled, periodic, preventative or emergency maintenance of production buildings and equipment. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Trouble shooting and repairing hog confinement facilities equipment.
* Inspecting, adjusting, and repairing equipment and building structures in the facilities.
* Recordkeeping of time and materials related to individual work orders.
* Starting machines and equipment to test operation following repair.
* Setting up and operating metal working equipment and tools, such as lathe, drill press, grinder, or welder, to make or repair parts.
* Analyzing and resolving machinery and equipment problems, applying knowledge of shop mathematics and mechanics.
* Directing the work of new hires in training.
* Determining priority of work orders.
* Assisting other workers in a variety of duties.
* Following other job-related instructions and performing other job-related duties as requested, subject to all applicable state and federal laws.

Interested candidates must have mechanical and electrical skills with one-year minimum construction or maintenance experience. Candidates are also required to have a high school diploma or GED. People in this position must be able to lift 100 lbs with a full range of body motion and be available for 24-hour call on a rotation basis, including weekends. This position also requires that the candidate have a valid drivers' license at all times with a reliable vehicle to transport tools & components between job sites. Mileage will be paid for on-site travel & after hours call-out. A resume is requested for these positions.
