Job Description



Expectations:
In this position, you will be responsible for leading the new projects coming in the pipeline, pushing industrialization, innovation, group/automotive product changes out of the whole SKF Automotive portfolio. As the Automotive Customer Project Manager, you will be part of the Automotive Customer Project Management team and will report to the responsible for Automotive Customer Project Management Americas within the Automotive Digitalization & PMO.

We are looking for proactive, can-do, hands-on, dynamic personalities who promote a positive culture and teamwork.


Responsibilities:

  • Drive and execute new Customer Engineer to Order projects (ETO, based on APQP Advanced Product Quality Planning) and/or Innovation Projects, which will come from all Automotive Product Lines.
  • Ensure flawless launches, maximizing the customer satisfaction.
  • Lead and steer the project team to the achievement of the QCD (Quality, Cost, Delivery) targets.
  • Establish a lean and solid link with Manufacturing clusters, Purchasing, Sales, Product Lines: escalation process to be used, when needed.
  • Formalize best practices, identified through projects handling, (actually, push for continuous improvement)!

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical or business field required
  • Experience promoting a positive culture and teamwork within international and multicultural project teams.
  • Experiences with project management suites/platforms, e.g., MS Project, Jira, Asana, MS Teams & Planner
  • Proven skills in managing customer-centric projects, across various cultures and regions.
  • Capabilities and experiences in Program & Project Management techniques, preferably linked to automotive APQP principles, Prince2, PMI and/or new ways of working (Scrum, Kanban, SAFE, Design Thinking, Lean etc.).
