Dunwoody College of Technology currently has the need for  a Business Analyst in the Information Technology department. This is a full-time, benefits eligible position. This position is responsible for working with other members of the organization to analyze and improve business processes through the application of existing and new technologic solutions and providing and analyzing data for the successful completion of organizational requirements and goals.
  • Cooperatively works with other members of the organization to document and improve processes
  • Develops business requirements documents for projects
  • Cooperatively works with project managers to develop project definitions
  • Guides IT team members and partners on required objectives and specifications for IT projects
  • Creates training materials to members of the organization for key business systems
  • Provides advice and training to members of the organization for key business systems
  • Queries SQL databases for occasional data requests
  • Cooperatively works with other members of the organization to test results of IT projects
  • Assist other members of the IT team when needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Strong PC skills, including experience with Microsoft Office suite programs; database management skills
  • Technical degree in programming or Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent required.  Equivalent being defined as a minimum of 4 years IT experience.
  • Proficient in the use of personal computers in a LAN environment required.
  • 3-5 years Microsoft SQL Server database experience and 3-5 years of business analysis experience required.
  • Experience with the following technologies and applications preferred: Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains, PowerCampus, PowerFAIDS, Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Microsoft SharePoint
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week.
