Hennepin County is hosting Employer of the Day Tuesday, September 12, 2017 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Orion Associates is the featured employer.  Orion Associates provides services to people with intellectual disabilities in a variety of settings.
 
Orion Associates is hiring Direct Support Professionals.  Wages are $12.60/hour - $16.60/hour with a $500 signing bonus plus benefits, depending on position. Positions are full time or part time.
 
Job requirements:

• Have a vehicle with current car insurance.
• Have an acceptable driving record as determined by Meridian Services policy.
• Successful clearance from a DHS background study.
• Experience working with challenging behaviors and mental health is required at several higher-level sites.

Training: 30 hours training (provided) and extensive on-the-job training.
 
Job locations: Multiple locations throughout the Twin Cities.
