History: Since its beginning in 1944 as a small engine rebuilder in the garage of a Ford dealership in St. Paul, Minnesota, Reviva has been a family-owned business providing quality remanufactured engine products and low cost, innovative logistic services for a variety of industries. In 2002, the Company's name changed from Dealers Manufacturing Co. to Reviva to emphasize their expertise in reviving and extending the life of equipment using remanufacturing technology. The name Reviva combines two words: Revive, which means "to live again and restore for use" and Viva, which is Italian for "long life." Reviva's products take remanufacturing to another level; they are re-engineered to compensate for original design weaknesses and configured to meet our customers' tough commercial requirements. The spring of 2004 marked the start of a key period in Reviva's history as the company embarked on its Lean Journey, which is a business strategy focused on continuous improvement throughout the entire company. The goals of this strategy are to eliminate waste, empower workers and move the company closer to its markets and customers. In the fall of 2007, Reviva acquired Engine Rebuilders Inc. of Oakes, North Dakota. This acquisition has allowed Reviva to enter the remanufactured skid steer and refrigeration markets. In the spring of 2008, Reviva launched its Third Party Distribution business by opening a 300,000 sq ft. tire distribution facility in Aurora, Illinois. Under the leadership of CEO & Owner, Dave Goodwin, Reviva continues to grow and flourish by providing quality, on-time, value solutions to OEMs, dealers, fleets and the aftermarket.
