Headway Emotional Services' mission is to help you, your children and your family back on the path toward positive, fulfilling lives. We know what we’re doing -- with more than 40 years in operation, Headway’s 100 plus caring staff in Golden Valley, Richfield and Hopkins provide comprehensive mental health therapy, counseling and classes to more than 11,000 families each year.

Originally called The Storefront Group, Headway was founded in 1970 by a group of suburban parents who wanted to help kids and families in crisis in their communities. Their mission, still true today, was “to transform lives by providing hope, healing and empowerment through treatment, intervention and education.”
