We are open to this individual sitting in either our Pleasant Hill or Truckee, CA office, or potentially a blend of the two. 
 

Your Responsibilities as a Groundwater Practice Leader (Principal Technical Leader):

· Serve as senior technical lead on cumulative project total of $2-$5 million annually.

· Contribute to successful business development of new clients and projects at greater than $1 million annually.

· Write and review technical reports and proposals.

· Assist with project management activities.

· Ability to grow an existing bustling practice in one of the following areas: groundwater/soil characterization and remediation, landfill engineering, or water resources;

· Augment a busy established, successful practice

· Identifying and developing successful client relationships and new business development opportunities with public and private clients on local, regional or national basis; business development of $400,000 annual revenue

· Mentor and train scientific staff and ensure quality work product.

· Actively develop your own career growth.


What we're looking for:

· BS in Engineering. Master's degree is preferred.

· Minimum 15 years of experience with environmental/remediation services, including technical writing, technical oversight, project management, business development, and staff management.

· Experience with oil & gas, manufacturing industries, utilities, landfills, and chlorinated solvent sites highly desired, Potentially Responsible Parties (PRP) Groups municipalities. (preferred)

· Current PE required

· Proven track record in business development and project management experience. (required)

· Proven track record of mentoring and developing staff. (preferred)

· Strong technical writing skills, the ability to successfully multi-task, safety awareness, and a good record and understanding of safe work practices.

· 40-hour HAZWOPER certification.

· Valid driver's license and personal vehicle are required.

· Strong communication skills.

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.

· Experience with Deltek Vision is preferred.

Anticipated range for this position is $120,000 - $165,000+ but could be more or less depending on education, skills, experience and location.
