The Opportunity

The Broadband Analog (BBA) and Optical IC Unit at Marvell designs and develops cutting edge Transimpedance Amplifiers (TIA), Electro-Optic Modulator Drivers and highly integrated Silicon Photonic IC (Sipho) solutions for optical communication modules. As the leader of a dynamic Test Engineering team, the candidate will be responsible for leading all testing strategy and development for Marvell's TIA, driver and Sipho IC products.

Job Responsibilities:

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead test engineering strategy and equipment/vendor selection, manage outsourced test houses and equipment suppliers. The position will require occasional travel to on- and offshore test sites.

  • Provide technical guidance to and manage the daily activities of a team of engineers developing test systems for low-volume bench sampling, high-volume manufacturing, characterization, and reliability - both on-wafer and in packaged IC's.

  • Architect and drive software best practices to enable maximal code re-use in a revision-controlled collaborative environment - both for internal and outsourced efforts.

  • Lead test hardware integration, including mechanical design, to provide systems of excellent repeatability and reproducibility. Drive vigorous validation for production stability.

  • Realize and implement continual improvements for test time reduction, test coverage, manufacturing flow, DFT/DFM and production quality control.

  • Architect and manage data backend flow to a centralized Yield Management System

  • Ensure complete documentation for test systems and software in a centralized document control system.
