Responsibilities:

  • Defining and managing enterprise standards for hosting, cloud, networking, integration, collaboration, end-user computing, network security, mobility, and IT operations.
  • Provide architectural design thought leadership and collaboration; Establish architecture review board and other vehicles for ensuring adherence to architectural principles.
  • Create, maintain, and enforce a system, integration, infrastructure, and organizational architecture model that reflects our strategies and goals. Act as visionary and strategist for technology solutions.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers, IT Leads, domain architects and others to provide estimates, develop overall implementation solution plans, and serve as a leader as required to ensure the solution gets implemented; present back to stakeholders, including executives, how architectural options will meet their needs.
  • Support with developing an annual operating and capital expenditure budget for IT Infrastructure and Architecture to ensure it is consistent with overall strategic objectives and is within the overall IT budget.
  • Maintain a future view of technology trends, aligning and evolving the technology roadmap. Accordingly, evaluate our systems (applications and infrastructure) and recommend operational and technical efficiencies, cost savings, and alignment with business and technology goals

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • 10+ years of experience leading technology adoption and change management efforts in technology and or high growth companies
  • Demonstrated ability to lead the team in its management, administration, maintenance, and support of the Enterprise Collaboration and Content Management platforms such as Slack, Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, and Zoom.
  • Broad technical knowledge and expertise in vendor application/platform architectures, as well as OIT sanctioned development methods and tools for securely extending package/platform functionality
  • Ability to lead a team of highly competent professionals with varying backgrounds and responsibilities. Must be a strong mentor and developer of people.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills that are evidenced in the ability to write effective and engaging communications and deliver live employee training
  • Experience developing and delivering technology training
  • Program and project management skills
  • Understanding of UX principles
