The Opportunity

Here at Marvell's Infrastructure Processor Business Unit (IPBU) we design and verify SoCs that provide cutting-edge solutions in 5G, network processing, automotive, and AI/ML for the customers. In this role, you will work on the verification environment, including testbench architecture, developing reference models, bus-functional drivers and monitors to verify Marvell's next-gen SoCs.

Job Responsibilities:

Responsibilities:

  • Develop test plan and architect verification infrastructure.

  • Block & sub-system levelSV/UVMtest bench development from scratch.

  • Write constraint random test cases and directed test cases to achieve coverage goals.

  • Debug failures and work with designers to resolve issues.

  • Develop functional verification of design on block, sub-system and SoC level.

  • Develop tests and rate monitors to measure latency and performance.

Requirements:

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields and 5-10 years of related professional experience OR Master's degree and/or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields with 3-5 years of experience.

  • Experience developing complex random verification environment using System Verilog/UVM.

  • Knowledge and experience with AMBA protocols (like AXI4, AXI4-Lite, AHB, APB etc.).

  • Experience with SVA writing.

  • Strong skills for writing System Verilog constraints.

  • Functional coverage skilled writing and closure.

  • Demonstrates good analysis and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong communication skills and good team player.

Preferred/Plus:

  • Experience in AI/ML is plus

  • Hands-on knowledge of ARM processor-based subsystem verification

  • Control/Data path formal verification using industry-standard tools

  • Knowledgeable in a scripting language like PERL/Python.

  • Prior experience in a programming language like C/C++

  • Experience integrating and using industry-standard VIPs

  • Knowledge and experience with Ethernet, PCIe, and DDR protocols.

  • Work independently and manage deliverables to align with the project goals.
