Job Description

The administrative intern position is a post graduate, paid learning and training experience that incorporates observation, mentoring, and project work. The intern is expected to shadow various administrative and medical leaders throughout the System, attend various meetings throughout the system, and participate on work teams and complete assigned projects.

  • Bachelor's degree in business, nursing, finance, or related field and a currently enrolled in a Master's degree in health care administration, business administration, or related field; and basic knowledge of hospital operations obtained through a previous position or administrative internship is preferred.
  • Analytical skills necessary to plan and develop activities impacting departmental operations, to work with special projects, and to develop, prepare, and analyze various reports, etc.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written, necessary to prepare clear and concise reports and make effective recommendations and formal presentations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint.
