Job PurposeUnder the direction of the Service Manager, the Service Department Intern will be assigned to various duties in the Service Department that interacts, participates and assists the effective operation of the shop.This is a part-time apprentice program for high school students. The shift is flexible and we will work around your summer and school schedule.Pay: $15/hr.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesResponsible for the overall cleanliness of shopCleaning responsibilities include but are not limited to cleaning bays, emptying garbage, etcDeliver parts as quickly and efficiently as possible to shop techniciansResponsible for the overall cleanliness of shopPull trucks into and out of the shop as directed by the Service Advisor(s)Must desire the opportunity to learn the business and grow within the businessMust treat customers in a diplomatic and courteous mannerOther duties as assigned to support and increase technician proficiency/efficiencyThe above list reflects the general details necessary to describe the principle and essential functions of the position and shall not be construed as the only duties that may be assigned for the position.An individual in this position must be able to successfully perform the essential duties and responsibilities listed above.
